Players navigate the last hour of a remake of a lost, non-existent, 90s JRPG, and must use deduction and problem solving to apply information from the original game’s manual, the developer’s commentary, and even clips of an unreleased documentary about the remake’s creation to navigate the endgame systems and mechanics.
Ultimately players delve through the game’s full history, exploring how games, and how we talk about them, has evolved over time, and wether one can really remake the “Greatest RPG of All Time"”. A full, commercial release coming to Steam soon. |
